The solid Mitel 632dt handset is designed for use in tough working environments and is an ideal fit for a wide range of business verticals. The 632dt handset is made from plastics that are protected with a silver-based treatment from BioCote Limited that inhibits the growth of certain viruses and bacteria on handset surfaces by up to 99.9%. The solid treatments in combination with the emergency button make it ideal for users in hospitals, care facilities, and security-related professions.
Redesigned and Ruggedized Handset
The new handset comes with a new design and color scheme. The keypad includes a new coating for better durability for frequent usage and simplified cleaning. The handset has been tested in real-life abrasion based on DIN Standard by an independent laboratory.
Designed for Outdoor or Rough Industrial Environments
The handset satisfies industrial standard IP 65 and with its high level of dust protection and jet-water resistance it can be used anywhere outdoors or in production areas. Equipped with a Bluetooth interface for a cordless headset, Mitel 632dt allow maximum freedom of movement. The high-quality lithium-ion battery can be charged via the USB interface, independently of the charging bay. Additionally, its integrated sensor alarm can be used in lone worker environments as a safety measure.
The handset, charger and belt clip plastic surfaces are protected by treatment with a compound from BioCote that is shown to inhibit certain virus and bacteria growth on the handset´s surfaces by up to 99.9% as per independent laboratory testing according to the ISO Standards.
